Buddy Lebron Akins

Buddy Lebron Akins, 84, of Chattanooga passed away Friday, September 7, 2018. He has been a resident of the Chattanooga area for 73 years and was of the Baptist faith. Buddy was a Mason and a Shriner. He enjoyed woodworking, making knife handles, golfing, and fishing. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Glenn; son, Steve Akins; daughter, Angela Akins; great-grandchildren, Hope and Patience.

Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years Wilma Akins; brother, Bob Robert Glenn; sister, Faye (Rob) Ives of Chattanooga; sons, Gary (Aimee) Akins and Curtis Akins of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Erica (Cory) Hall of Chattanooga; and great-grandchildren, Cruz and Finn Hall.

Funeral services will be 12 Noon Monday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Billy Lowery officiating. Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, East.
