Bobby Gene Webb, 54, lovingly known as Lighting or Rooster of Ringgold, broke the Shackles of cancer to gain the ultimate victory Saturday October 27, 2018 at home with his fiancée Laura Lovingood and his beloved pets Tippie, Trooper, Bella and Zaazoo as were his wishes.
Mr. Webb was a native of Tullahoma, TN a son of the late Bobby and Virginia Rackley Webb and was lovingly raised raised by grandparents the late Robert and Nora Webb.
Bobby was a retired fireman for Walker County, GA and East Ridge, Tn and was of the Baptist faith, He was fearless in the face of fire and helped to save many lives.
He loved being part of the 52nd Georgia Regiment of Confederate re-enactors of the Civil War, by bringing history to life
Mr. Webb was preceded in death by his wife Laura Webb and a brother Gene Webb.
Survivors are his Fiancée Laura Lovingood of Ringgold, Step mother Maggie Webb of Florida, brothers Sheldon Webb and Rock Webb of Florida; sisters Margaret Ann Webb of Jasper, Tn and Gail Webb of Florida. also surviverd by many dear friends whom Bob considered to be family and a dear cousin Scott Kilgore.
He brought joy and laughter to those around him and he will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be 12:00pm Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with the Chaplin of the 52nd Georgia Regiment and friends of Bobbies Celebrating his life.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to McKamey Animal Center in Bob's Memory.
Interment will be at Sequatchie Memorial Gardens.
