Bob Craig

James Robert “Bob” Craig, 85 of Ringgold passed away at home Thursday, October 28, 2021. Bob was born October 19, 1936 in Chattanooga, TN to the late Robert Jones and Eva Elizabeth Craig. He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga/ North Georgia area and member of Peavine Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Reserves and retired from TVA after 33 years of service. He loved woodworking, going to Rod Runs and antique cars.

He was preceded in death by his first wife Gladys Marie Bowling Craig.

Survivors include his loving wife Mary Elizabeth Craig; son and daughter in law, Todd and Lea Craig; daughters and son in laws, Kim and Ernie Phillips, Kristi and Allen Green; sister and brother in law, Laura and John McCulley; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 11 AM, Monday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joel Southerland officiating. A private interment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
