Bill Rahilly

William James "Bill" Rahilly III, 71, of Chattanooga, died Saturday, January 5, 2019.  Bill was a longtime resident of Trenton, NJ, and Jekyll Island, GA, before moving to the Chattanooga area.  In his free time he loved to play tennis, spend time gardening, and listen to the blues.  Mr. Rahilly had been a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Trenton, NJ.  He was smart, cared for others, was friendly, engaging, and enjoyed talking with friends and family.  Bill enjoyed getting his hands dirty while gardening, spending time at the ocean, and also good beer and good food. 

He is preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Susie Stemhagen-Rahilly, and father, William James Rahilly Jr.

Survivors are his mother, Ruth Rahilly, Lawrenceville, NJ; brother, Michael (Cynthia) Rahilly, Orcas Island, WA; niece Siobhan (Jon) M. Rahilly, Chattanooga; and numerous friends and family members.
