Betty "June" (Cameron) Chambers

Betty June (Cameron) Chambers, 87, daughter of John Thomas Cameron and Charity Elizabeth Chadwick, longtime resident of Ringgold, GA, passed away at home on Easter Sunday April 17, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. June was a Central High School graduate class of 1953. She was active in her church, Boynton Baptist, throughout her life. She retired from Boynton Elementary School as a Paraprofessional. Her favorite past times included square dancing, traveling, singing, and playing guitar.

June was preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years C.B. Chambers; son, Chris Chambers; and siblings Oscar, Robert, Ivan, Glenna Mae, Dorothy, Velma, Gladys and Haley.

June is survived by her son Bill (Ann) Chambers, granddaughter, Christen (David) Ellison, and great-grandchildren Emily, Parker, and Luke.

The family would like to thank Jenny Ball and Hearth Hospice for their assistance during June’s time of need.

Funeral services will be held Saturday April 23rd at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Keith McLeod officiating. Interment will follow at Daily Hills Cemetery.
