Betty Day June Carver

Betty Day Carver, 86, of Rossville went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 23, 2019. She was a life-long resident of the North Georgia area and a long-time member at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and Nanny.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leon Carver; parents, Frank Day and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Day; and her sisters, Jimmie (Bryan) McClurkin, Margaret (Thomas) Connally and Sally (James) Bryant and six other brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Becky (Scottie) Medlin; son, Greg (Mitzi) Carver; grandsons, Julian (Nikki) Chambers, Landon (Lori) Carver and Chandler Carver.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Royce Powell officiating. Interment will follow at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
