Betty L Holcomb

Betty L Holcomb, 80, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 26, 2019. Born August 21, 1938, she was a daughter of the late William T. Standifer and Ora Fine Standifer. Betty was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia, Chattanooga area and a member of Woodland Park Baptist Church. She loved gardening, traveling, and taking care of her family.

Betty is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Charles Holcomb, daughters Connie (Phil) Cawood and Kathy (Scott) Kennedy, sister Brenda (Harle) Green, and grandchildren Aaron (Amanda) Cawood, Emily (Philip) Edens, Liz (Jay) Stanfield and Josh Kennedy (Fiancée Morgan Larson).

Graveside services will be held 1 PM Friday at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Josh Kennedy and other grandchildren officiating.

Pallbearers are Aaron Cawood, Philip Edens, Josh Kennedy, Jay Stanfield, Phil Cawood, and Scott Kennedy.

The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
