Barbara (Bobbie) A Silvers

Barbara A. (Bobbie) Silvers, 81, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord Monday August 10, 2020. She was a lifelong resident of Ringgold and attended New Liberty Baptist Church. Bobbie had worked at M&J Supermarket and the Ringgold City Pool. Her favorite job was that of a mother to her son and a homemaker for her family.   She will always be remembered for her huge caring heart, her ability to always make you feel special, loved and supported and her endless mischievous pranks.  She was an avid lover of all things nature, camping, campfires and family and never met a trail that she didn’t want to hike.

Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Bob Silvers, son Tyson (Amy) Silvers of Cleveland, TN, stepdaughter Alice (Mike) Denton of Ringgold, sister Imogene (Dan) Phillips of Graysville, GA, and grandchildren Janice (Charles) Hollis of Tunnel Hill, Suzanna (Mike) Mansi of Ringgold, and special nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 Thursday at Anderson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Danny Henson officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to New Liberty Baptist Church in Ringgold.
