Barbara Jean Young, 83 of Rossville, GA died Sunday June 18, 2017 in a local health care facility.

Barbara lived in Rossville her entire life and was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Young, her parents, Charles and Beulah Young, three brothers, William, C.B., and Robert Young, and one sister, Eloise Patrick.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Renea Young of East Ridge, four grandchildren, Stephen Young, Joshua Young, Meighan McDonough (Tobias), and Justin Bluford, three great-grandchildren, Thomas, Athena, and Scarlett McDonough, one nephew, Ronnie Patrick and three nieces, Margaret Cox, Joyce Burke and Teresa McDowell.

A graveside service will be conducted 11 AM Wednesday at Brainerd United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Debra Dickerson officiating.
