Barbara Etta (Payne) Brocksmith

Barbara Etta Payne Brocksmith, 80, of Ringgold passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 at her home. She was born on November 18, 1940 in Sherwood, TN to the late Frank and Lucy Payne. She was the office manager at Apex Carpet for over 15 years until retirement. Barbara loved to fish, work in her garden, cook and spend time with her grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bob Brocksmith; and three brothers, Tucker Payne, Raymond Payne and Paul Payne.

Survivors include her childen, Connie Melton, Donnie Peppers, Robin Brocksmith and Robert Brocksmith, Jr; brothers, Clayton Payne, Jesse Payne and Rev. James Payne; sisters, Jean Guess and Sharon Wood; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
