Allene Smartt

Mildred Allene Smartt, 91, of Chattanooga passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, November 7th, 2019. Allene was born April 12, 1928 in Etowah, TN. She was a devout member of Ridgeline Church of God where she served in many capacities. She liked to cook and sew but loved spending time with her family. She was a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and child of the King.

She is preceded by her loving husband of 52 years, Robert Smartt; parents, Dewey Albert and Lillie Adams Yoder; step mother, Louella Whitener Yoder; 5 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include her children, Steve Smartt , Linda (Don) Morgan, David Smartt all of Chattanooga and John (Donna) Smartt of N. Augusta, SC, ; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 PM, Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Danny Pinter officiating. Interment will be at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Hixson, TN.
