Allen Dixon

George “Allen” Dixon, 56, of Ringgold, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019.  George was born August 5, 1962, in Jasper, TN, to parents Arnold Dixon and Ruby Quarles.  George managed the Shoney’s on Walnut Ave in Dalton, GA, for over 30 years. In his free time George enjoyed traveling, gardening, and spending time in the outdoors and with family & friends.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his work ethic, and the love he shared.  George is preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Quarles and brother, Donald Ray Dixon.

George is survived by his sisters Cindy McDowell, of Lafayette, Sandra Wallin, of Florida, Carolyn Farr, of Cleveland, TN, Jennie Meeks, of Tracy City, TN, brothers, Arnold Dixon Jr., of Dalton, GA, Terry Dixon, of Jasper, TN, Michael Dixon, of Rocky Face, GA, Tony Dixon, of Sequatchie, TN, and Eddie Dixon, of Sequatchie, TN.

A private service will be conducted at a later date.

Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
