Agnes Esther Eaton, 80 of LaFayette passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017. A native of New York City, she had been a resident of LaFayette for the past 45 years where she attended The Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul. Agnes was a prayer warrior and a very loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Moses J. Eaton; parents, Emil and Olga Shandor; and sister, Theresa Duda.

Survivors include her sons, Christopher (Cindy) Eaton, Douglasville, GA and Anthony Eaton, Atlanta; daughters, Laura (Brian) Wilson, Madisonville, TN and Gina (Neal) Tench, Ft. Oglethorpe; sisters, Nancy Napolitano and Lillian Shandor, both of Smithtown, NY; along with eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass will be held 3 PM Friday at The Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul with Father Riehl officiating. Interment will follow in the LaFayette Cemetery.
