I just saw about my sweet friend Wes finishing the race that he ran, honoring God, His country, His family, his friends, and his church. Wes was a joy in my life, an encourager, and the best story teller of all time!!!! My heart is broken for his sweet family because that is a hole that no one can fill. I am so thankful for the time in my new walk with jesus that Wes, and his entire family was a major encouragement to me. If not for the love and support from Unity Baptist my life may have never stayed on the straight and narrow way. Wes was one of the anchors in my life and I will always thank God for the privilege of knowing and loving him. Welcome home my friend. Listen, listen, I think you might hear........Welcome home, my good and faithful servant.To the family I want to remind you that God is a refuge, a strength, and a very present help in time of need. You will need the Holy Spirit's comfort, run to Him, rest in Him, and may He give you the strength you need in the coming days, weeks, and months. Love you much. Chris
