Tyler Lea Slaughter, 31, of Ringgold, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 29th, 2017 at his residence.  He was a class of 2005 graduate of Ringgold High School where he was on the State Championship Wrestling Team.  He was a valuable and long time employee of TandT Produce and a longtime member of Frawley Baptist Church. 

     Tyler had a huge heart and was loved by everyone.  Tyler could be a clown, but was a kind and loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend.

He is survived by his parents:  Terry and Denise Slaughter, Ringgold,  grandmother:  Sybil Lea, Ringgold, sisters:  Sarah Morgan Slaughter, Ringgold, and Terrilynn (Tony) Manis, Ooltewah.

     Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, August 4, 2017 at Frawley Road Baptist Church with Pastor Ken Wolfe Officiating.  The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service.  Pallbearers will be: Garrison Goins, Alan Lee, Kyle Queen, Sean McDevitt, Brian Sisk, Adam Knight, Stacy Russell, and Greg Hopkins.  Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Ringgold High School Wrestling Team, and Employees of TandT Produce.

     The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
