Kim Renee Erwin

Kimberly “Kim” Renee Erwin passed away peacefully on April 21, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Fort Worth, Texas, however, has been a resident in Catoosa County for over 50 years. After graduating in 1981, from Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School, Kim went on to earn her specialist degree in early childhood education. She dedicated 28 years of her life to serving others within the community, pouring her heart and soul into developing the minds of her staff and students. Kim love to spend time with her friends and family, as that was what mattered most to her. 

She is lovingly, survived by her husband and soulmate, David Erwin. Her children, Josh (Ashley) Headrick, Lee (Lindsey) Erwin, and Matt (Vicki) Erwin. Those who called her “Nonna” and were the center of her world, Ella Headrick, Presleigh Brown, and Liam Erwin. Her mother, Naomi Baker, father, Ken Baker. Her siblings Leand Baker and Jeff (Sharon) Baker, as well as, her nieces and nephews. 

A celebration of life will be held in her honor at Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday, April 25, 2024. Visitation from 2:00-4:00pm and service at 4:30pm. We ask that everyone dress casually and come celebrate the wonderful life and memories we have shared with Kim. Kim consistently made sure those children less fortunate had what was needed. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Catoosa County Children’s Fund at PO Box 130 Ringgold, GA 30736.
