Mr. Broyles, Who always said to call him Ken, was such a nice man! He helped me pick out the proper insurance and I had very very few options. I called him every year to find out if I needed to change anything. Such a great man. It is so sad to know he is no longer with us, but I am so glad he went home to be with the Lord and he is no longer in pain or suffering. I am sorry he did not get to stay here longer. Praying for Kens family.

I served in the Navy with Kenny at NAS Albany Georgia. We shared an apartment off base and had many many adventures together. When I was discharged from the Navy I visited Kenny with his Mother and Sister. Once again we had more adventures with his good friend Ozzie. I headed home to Texas and we lived our separate lives. We stayed in touch over the years and I was saddened to hear him tell me he was battling cancer. Whenever I think of Kenny a smile comes to my face.

We are so sorry to here of Ken's passing. Nell was close friends with his mother Ann, and Ken was her insurance provider for health insurance. We prayed every day for his recovery. Charles talked to Ken two weeks ago, and Ken had told me his cancer returned, but he was going to get a new medicine to try, and he sounded as upbeat as he always seemed at any time either of us talked with him, and that is why it was such a shock.
I know it sounds like a clique, as people seemed to always say, but we mean it, if there is anything we can do, please let us know. We will continue to pray for the family.

So sorry for your loss. Ken was a hero - as defined as someone who has the character traits that people look up to. and ought to embrace. He served his country - which is selfless service. Kenneth was a solid supporter of the LFO JROTC program. He was instrumental in arranging for the donation of a parade banner for our program. We have carried that banner in several parades and will do so in the future. Now it is time for the family to carry his memories; as a "banner" as they march through life. I am glad I had the pleasure to meet him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
