So very sorry to just learn in 2023 of Johnny and Susan's passing. He was in the Class of 1974 at Vidalia High School. We attended Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, GA and Georgia Southern together. Prayers for the family.

Johnny was a coworker at Northwest Georgia Bank for several years. He was such a friendly, kind, smart, professional person and I always enjoyed my interactions with him. It was always a pleasure to walk across the lobby and see his welcoming smile. My heart goes out to the family for the devastating loss of both Johnny and Susan..

I remember Johnny very well even though it has been several years since seeing him. My father (Raynard Foster) worked with him for many years at South Trust Bank and its predecessors. My father often said to our family that he considered Johnny a very close friend rather than a work colleague. Whenever visiting my father at work Johnny would spend time with me often asking how I was doing and we would talk about his son Matthew.
After my father retired from banking he has often said that "Johnny is the most stand up person he worked with over his career". My Thoughts are with "Johnny's Matthew" and the rest of the family.

Our deepest sympathy to Matthew and family with this tragic death with Johnny and Susan. Johnny was my manager for almost 17 years with SouthTrust Bank in Rosville, GA. We all loved Johnny. He was also a great friend, and co worker. Our prayers and deepest sympathy are going out to all. Johnny was a very deeply Christian man and loved his Lord very deeply.
We will all miss his smile and hearing his laugh.

Gone too soon.
Love and Deep Sympathy,
Bert and Jim Spradlin

Judy and I were heart-sick when we heard the news. I was working at the pool with Martha when Susan brought Johnny home from GA Southern one summer. I remember liking him right away. We went to GA Southern, had the same birthday, and liked a lot of the same things. Years later they would be in my Sunday School class. I enjoyed them very much. So sad to see them go.

the family of Johnny Ray & Susan: I am Johnny Ray's cousin and the last time I talked to him was just before his Mom died. I thought a lot of Him but I don't think I ever met Susan. I know she was a fine person and I am so sorry to hear of their passing. I see Jimmy once in a while. I'll be praying for the family. I know that's bad to lose both of them at one time. May God walk through this journey with yall and bless yall abundantly.
