Jill Marie Besser Pratt, 64, Fort Oglethorpe, passed away December 25, 2017 at a local hospital.  Jill was a born of the late Wallis and Rose Besser in Pittsburgh, PA and was a resident of Pennsylvania for most of her life till moving to Fort Oglethorpe 2 years ago.  She was of the Christian faith and had recently attended Battlefield United Methodist Church.  Jill enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers play football, she loved giraffes, and in her free time enjoyed communicating with friends spread out all over the place on the computer.

Survivors are her husband of 35 years Gordon Pratt; son, Brian Cecil Pratt, Guys Mills, PA; daughters, Brenda (Bill) Schaeffer, Guys Mills, PA, Rebecca (Steve) Anthony, Marietta, GA; brothers, Charles Besser, Anchorage, AK; sisters, Jacalyn Watson, Charleston, SC, Sharon Alexander, Conneaut Lake, PA; and 2 grandchildren, Elizabeth Zuber and Spencer Anthony.

Funeral services will be 1 PM, Friday, in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Tommy Messer officiating. 

Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
