Mr. Sholl was an example of the generation that made America even greater, a true American. I enjoyed our conversations and occasional pearls of wisdom he would share. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren. May God bless you and your family.

During the years Jerald served at McCallie I always enjoyed our conversations at lunch when he would share his wisdom and wit. I also admired the way he doggedly faced life. My condolences.

What a wonderful man who truly loved his his country, family and his God. One of the "Greatest Generation" has left us but he leaves those who knew him with many fond memories. Thoughts, prayers and love to all of the family.

My deepest sympathy to all the Family. I only met Jerald once when visiting him with his beautiful daughter , Julie (my daughter-in-law) and my son @ assisted living and was very happy to have had that pleasure. For him to have such a wonderful family speaks volumes of ones values and love of family. I love his daughter like she was mine and am looking forward to getting to know the rest of the family. He expressed that he wanted to leave this earthly place on many occasions so now he is with his beloved wife and daughter waiting for the rest to join them. Such a lovely man.

So sorry to hear of Jerald's passing!!! I always thought very highly of him. His late wife, Jo Faye was my husband's niece. We never get ready to give up our loved ones, but if we know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, then we have a wonderful reunion to look forward to .I pray that God will comfort your hearts during this difficult time and give you a peace that passes all understanding. God Bless!!!

Mike, I am sorry to hear of your Fathers passing I know you miss him. Based on his obituary and knowing you, I can see his many good traits in you and see why you have always been a good man. I know you and your family will miss him. I lost my Dad in 2010 and they don't make them like that anymore. My heart felt condolences to you and your family. I believe we will see them again very soon. May GOD bless you and comfort you in this time of difficulty

Jerald, better know as gramps, certainly left some wonderful memories for his family: His love and loyalty to his family never went unnoticed, and being encouraging even in the worst of times. He truly sat a wonderful example for fathers in their love for their families. We all will truly miss a man like this. These qualities haven't went unnoticed by his Creator as well, take notice of Gods promise to Jerald: There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous ( Acts 24:15 ). The family is in our prayers.

You have my deepest condolences. He was very dear to me. He was always telling me jokes. I miss cooking his two special eggs and bacon. He is truly missed. I will keep the family in my prayers. God bless.
