Ada “Sue” Rankin, 64, of Rossville, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at a local hospital.  Sue was a resident of the north Georgia area for over 40 years having moved her from Saltville, Virginia where she was born to the late Henry and Edith Harris.  Sue was a nurse at Hutcheson Medical Center then retired from Fort Oglethorpe Nursing Center. 

Survivors are her daughter, Jessica Kittle (Eric Jeffery), of Ringgold; brothers, Willie (Glenda) Harris, of Ringgold, Bobby Harris, of Rossville, and Michael Harris, of Rossville; grandchildren, Eric Jeffery Jr. and Aaron Jeffery; and several nieces and nephews. 

Sue is preceded in death by her brother, Ron Harris, and sisters, Janie Baker and Wanda Barrett.

A memorial service celebrating Sue’s life will take place at a later date.

Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway.
